As part of an ongoing commitment to the UK’s Aerospace, Defence and Security industries, CloudNC was recently awarded accreditation from JOSCAR (the Joint Supply Chain Accreditation Register). CloudNC also recently joined the membership ranks of the NDI (National Defence Industries), a trade association that champions and celebrates the UK’s Defence & Security industry, representing the sector’s interests to government and championing these innovative, global and dynamic industries to the public.
JOSCAR is a collaborative tool used by the aerospace, defence and security industry to act as a single repository for pre-qualification and compliance information. Using JOSCAR can determine if a supplier is “fit for business”. The system was established following an initiative led by ADS Group and includes a growing number of prime contractors as registered buyers together with the MoD. JOSCAR is a cross-sector community which reduces the time, cost and resources and duplication needed to provide information to major buying organisations.
CloudNC CEO and co-founder, Theo Saville explains that, “we are committed to becoming a key part of the UK’s manufacturing ecosystem and these accreditation and membership underline our commitment to providing the best possible manufacturing services to critical industries like Aerospace, Defence and Security.”
