CloudNC, leading manufacturing autonomy powerhouse, was selected from hundreds of candidates as one of the World Economic Forum’s “Technology Pioneers”. CloudNC’s mission is to revolutionize manufacturing to make it 10x more efficient, sustainable and faster than anything we currently have.
The World Economic Forum’s Technology Pioneers are early-stage and growth-stage companies from around the world that are involved in the use of new technologies and innovations that are poised to have a significant impact on business and society.
With CloudNC’s selection as Technology Pioneer, CloudNC CEO Theo Saville will be invited to participate at World Economic Forum activities, events and discussions throughout the year. CloudNC will also contribute to Forum initiatives over the next two years, working with global leaders to help address key industry and societal issues.
“We’re excited to welcome CloudNC to our 2021 cohort of Technology Pioneers,” says Susan Nesbitt, Head of the Global Innovators Community, World Economic Forum. “CloudNC and its fellow pioneers are developing technologies that can help society solve some of its most pressing issues. We look forward to their contribution to the World Economic Forum in its commitment to improving the state of the world.”
“We are delighted to be recognised alongside so many impressive previous Technology Pioneers such as Airbnb, Google, Kickstarter, Spotify and Twitter”, said CloudNC’s Theo Saville. “We hope to use this platform to highlight the lack of sustainability in the manufacturing sector, and to share our knowledge and expertise to shape the future of a historically wasteful industry which has been slow to adopt technological advancements.” Theo concluded, “we’ve seen ourselves as pioneers from the day we founded CloudNC and it’s a great feeling to be recognized as just that”
